Apart from being an actor, Amitabh Bachchan is also performing as a musician. Yes, isn’t it surprising? Amitabh Bachchan is known as one of the biggest actors of Bollywood in the last few decades. He has also lent his voice to many songs. But this is the first time that the Shahenshah of Bollywood is also turning composer for R Balki’s film ‘Chup’.

Speaking about it, R. Balki said, “It all happened very suddenly. I had asked Amit ji to watch the movie (Chup). After he saw it, he called me over and heard me play his piano, saying that the movie and the characters made him feel that way. She was so beautiful that I was excited. I asked him if I could use the tune and he promptly donated it to the film. Aaj Chup is the first film to have Amitji’s official composition as its credit.”

Starring Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salmaan and Pooja Bhatt, ‘Chup’ is directed by R Balki. It is produced by Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Anil Naidu, Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studio) and Gauri Shinde. The original story of the film is by R Balki.

Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios) is presenting the film and the film will be distributed across India by Pen Marudhar. The cinematographer is Vishal Sinha and the music directors are SD Burman, Amit Trivedi, Sneha Khanwalkar and Aman Pant. Lyrics by Sahir Ludhianvi, Kaifi Azmi, Swanand Kirkire. Pranab Kapadia and Anirudh Sharma are co-producing the film.
