Deepika said in a media interview, “I never want to hurt my fans. I feel bad for being trolled. I feel bad that I hurt my fans’ feelings. I know people don’t see me as Deepika but as Sita. I found out later that people got mad about it. So I deleted the post. Anyway, there’s so much going on in the world, why create another problem for nothing?”

Admitting her mistake, Deepika said, “I don’t justify what I did. I make it clear that this was a mistake on my part. I didn’t drink alcohol. It was a little meeting with my friends.”

In the post, Deepika clicked a picture with her friends wearing a white shirt and tie with a skirt. In the picture, a glass was seen in Deepika’s hand. Soon after he shared the post, people started criticizing him. Users said that people see her as Sita Maa.
